JEE Main NTA New Rule : The JEE Main exam, a crucial gateway for engineering aspirants in India, is organized by the National Testing Agency (NTA). JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025 New Updates by NTA

The JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025 remains mostly unchanged. The exam will be divided into two sections. Section A will consist of 20 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), while Section B will include 10 numerical value-type questions, of which candidates can attempt any five. The exam will have a duration of 3 hours and a total of 300 marks.
  • For Paper 1 (B.Tech), the exam will be conducted online in a computer-based format. It will cover three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each subject will have a combination of 20 MCQs and 10 numerical value questions.
  • The marking scheme will award 4 marks for each correct answer, and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response. The exam will be available in multiple languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Marathi, Odia, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil, Hindi, English, Telugu, Urdu, and Gujarati.

  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for appearing in JEE Main 2025.
  • Qualifying Exam: Applicants must have passed or be appearing for Class 12 or an equivalent exam.
  • Year of Passing: Those who passed their exam in 2022, 2023, or are appearing in 2024 are eligible.
  • Required Subjects:
    • For JEE Main Paper 1 (B.Tech): Physics and Mathematics are compulsory.
    • For JEE Main Paper 2A (B.Arch): Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are mandatory.
    • For JEE Main Paper 2B (B.Plan): Mathematics is required.
