Karnataka Judiciary Exam 2024: The Karnataka High Court Recruitment department will soon release a notification for appointing District Judges in the year 2024. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the notification will be invited to appear for a Preliminary exam.

The acceptance of Karnataka District Judge Application forms will be based on the dates specified in the notification. If a candidate does not meet the required eligibility, their application form will be rejected. Those who have applied need to attend the Preliminary exam, Mains Exam, and Interview. The Karnataka High Court conducts the Karnataka Judicial Service Examination annually to hire candidates for the Civil Judge cadre, and this year, there are 57 vacancies for direct recruitment as civil judges.

The salary of a Civil Judge at Karnataka High Court ranges between Rs 27,700 - Rs 44,700 per month. Additionally, the in-hand salary includes various perks and allowances like Dearness Allowance, HRA, Travel Allowances, and Rent Allowance.

Karnataka Judiciary Exam Eligibility Criteria 2024

For Direct Recruitment:

• Candidates must have a law degree and be enrolled as an Advocate.
• SC or ST applicants must not have completed 43 years of age as of 26th March 2022.
• Unreserved candidates must not have completed 40 years of age.

Recruitment of In-service Candidates:

• In-service candidates must have a law degree awarded by a recognized University in India.
• SC or ST candidates must not have attained the age of 38 as of 26th March 2022.
• Unreserved candidates must not have attained the age of 35 years.

5. On the new page, click on the "Online Application" Button.
6. Select "Civil Judge" in the dropdown and enter all personal details correctly.

Karnataka High Court Civil Judge Selection Process 2024

The selection of candidates for the vacancies is made through the following procedure:

1. Preliminary Examination: Shortlisting based on performance in the online exam.
2. Mains Exam: Descriptive exam mode including four sections.
3. Viva-Voce or Interview: Testing general knowledge, principles of law, and suitability for the appointment.
