JENPAS UG Result : The result date for JENPAS 2024 has yet to be announced. As per the official notification from the exam conducting body, the JENPAS 2024 exam is scheduled for June 30, 2024. Typically, the result is unveiled 10-15 days after the exam concludes on the official website of WBJEEB-JENPAS, wbjeeb.nic.in. The Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Sciences Under Graduate Course (JENPAS) result will be presented as a Rank Card. Last year, WBJEEB disclosed the JENPAS UG result on July 18.

As per the notification issued on July 17th, the results of the JENPAS(UG)-2023 for admission into BSc Nursing and other Paramedical UG courses in Universities/Colleges in West Bengal would be announced on July 18, 2023. Candidates were able to download the JENPAS UG rank card from 2:00 PM onwards on July 18, 2023. Candidates could download the JENPAS UG rank card starting from 2:00 PM on July 18, 2023. How to Check JENPAS 2023 Result?

The JENPAS UG result 2023 was released by WBJEEB in the form of a rank card, encompassing all pertinent ranks and scores. Here are the steps to download the JENPAS rank card:
  1. Visit the official website of WBJEEB-JENPAS.
  2. Navigate to the "Current Events" section and select the JENPAS 2023 result tab.
  3. Choose the JENPAS exam and input your application number and date of birth.
  4. Enter the security PIN displayed on the screen.
  5. Click on the Sign In button.
  6. The JENPAS 2023 rank card will be displayed on the screen.

JENPAS 2023 Answer Key

On June 11, 2023, WBJEEB administered the JENPAS 2023 exam. The final answer key, along with the result, was released by the exam conducting body on July 18, 2023, on the official website. Initially, on June 15, 2023, WBJEEB provided the provisional answer key for JENPAS UG 2023, allowing candidates to download it. Candidates had the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key until June 18, 2023, by paying a challenge fee of INR 500 per question. The final answer key was prepared after reviewing the challenges raised by the candidates. Subsequently, scores and ranks in the JENPAS UG exam were calculated based on the final reviewed answer keys.

WBJEE JENPAS Merit List - Tie-Breaking Policy

In instances where two or more candidates achieve identical scores in the entrance exam, the exam conducting authority will employ a tie-breaking formula to ensure impartial ranking. Below is the JENPAS tie-breaking formula as prescribed by WBJEEB:
  • Preference is given to candidates with fewer negative marks in Biology, Physics, and Chemistry combined.
  • In cases where Biology and Chemistry are combined, candidates with more positive results are prioritized.
  • Similarly, for candidates combining Biology and Physics, those with more positive results are favored.
  • If Biology and Chemistry are considered together, preference is given to candidates with fewer negative marks.
  • Likewise, for candidates combining Biology and Physics, those with fewer negative marks are prioritized.
The rank card will display all pertinent rank and total score information, accessible by logging in with the registration credentials. Additionally, a separate notice will be issued detailing the counseling or seat allotment process, including a course and seat-by-seat list of institutes.

What after JENPAS Result?

Following the announcement of the JENPAS result, WBJEEB organized counseling sessions to facilitate admissions to nursing colleges in West Bengal. Subsequently, a separate notification outlining the counseling/seat allotment process and admission procedure was promptly released on the Board's website.

JENPAS Rank Card 2023

The JENPAS result was exclusively released online in the form of a Rank Card, encompassing all pertinent ranks and scores. WBJEEB opted against publishing a rank list to uphold confidentiality for every candidate. Rank cards, inclusive of scores, will be provided to all exam attendees. However, not all candidates may receive a rank and consequently may not qualify for counseling. The board established a cut-off rank and/or score to determine eligibility for counseling.
