AIIMS NORCET 9 Recruitment 2025

 

AIIMS New Delhi has announced the commencement of the AIIMS NORCET 9 Recruitment 2025 for the recruitment of 3700 Nursing Officer positions. The recruitment will be conducted in two stages, beginning with a Preliminary Exam on September 14, 2025, followed by the Main Exam on September 27, 2025. The AIIMS NORCET 9 application process was completed from July 22, 2025 to August 11, 2025, through the official website www.aiimsexams.ac.in. AIIMS NORCET 9 correction window 2025 was open from August 30, 2025, to September 2, 2025, through the official website www.aiimsexams.ac.in. The NORCET 9 Admit Card 2025 has been released on 11 September 2025 at aiimsexams.ac.in. 

Eligible candidates holding BSc Nursing, GNM, or MSc Nursing qualifications can apply online during this period. The selection process includes a Computer-Based Test (CBT) where Stage I (Prelims) serves as a qualifying exam and Stage II (Mains) determines the final merit list. The result dates for both stages will be announced soon. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹44,000 to ₹55,000 under Pay Level 7.   • For General Nursing Midwifery (GNM) Nursing courses: Must have completed courses from a recognized university and be registered with the Indian Nursing Council and State Nursing Council.

Question paper divided into 5 sections (18 minutes each, 20 questions per section). Sections appear sequentially, no return to previous sections. Qualifying marks: 50th percentile for UR/EWS, 45th percentile for OBC, 40th percentile for SC/ST; 5 percentile relaxation for PWBD.

Preparation of List of Qualified Candidates :

Top 5 times the total seats in each category will be called for Stage II. All PWBD candidates and all tie cases will also be included.
Stage II: NORCET Main Scheme of Examination : Duration: 180 minutes. 160 MCQs (subject-related, case scenario-based questions). Negative marking: 1/3 for each wrong answer. Question paper divided into 4 sections (45 minutes each, 40 questions per section). Sections appear sequentially, no return to previous sections.

Resolution of Tie Cases :

Resolve by date of birth (older candidates placed higher). If still tied, fewer wrong answers/negative marks determine placement. Merit reflected in the NORCET score.
