NBSE HSLC Exam Pattern 2024: The NBSE HSLC Exam Pattern 2024 will be made available on the official website, nbsenl.edu.in, by the Nagaland Board of School Education. The exam pattern aids in the comprehension of the NBSE syllabus, marking schemes, and grading system for students preparing for the board examinations. Exams for the NBSE are given out for a total of 100 marks, of which 80 are for external exams and 20 are for internal exams.
Every year in February or March, the NBSE administers the HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) exam for Class 10. According to the syllabus, the matriculation exam is given after the tenth-grade education. The learning programme is comprised of the standard teaching methodology of in-person instruction. Seven papers covering eighteen subjects make up the NBSE HSLC exam. Examination takers have the option of using one of the numerous Indian languages or English as their medium of instruction. What is the pass mark for NBSE HSLC exam?
The total marks for each subject are 100. Students have to score a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to be declared pass.
What are the subjects in NBSE Class 10?
The subjects of the NBSE HSLC exam 2024 are English, Language II, Science, Social Science, Maths, sixth subject could be Home Science or FIT or music or Bookkeeping or Environmental education and internally assessed subjects that include Physical and Health Education and Work and Art Education.
What happens if I fail in 2 subjects in NBSE Class 10?
If you fail in 2 subjects, then you will have to repeat one more year. If the student fails to get less than 33 marks in any one or two subjects, then the student will have to appear for the compartment exam.
What happens if you fail in one subject in Hslc?
If you fail one subject, you can make up for it in a compartment test, which is normally held within a few months. You will be declared failed that is if you fail two or more subjects, and you will have to repeat 12th and 10th grade. You have a chance of passing your academic if you pass the improvement test/exam.
Can I repeat Class 10 after passing?
Yes, a candidate who has qualified class 10th/12th exam, may appear for improvement in one or more subjects but in the succeeding year only.
