MPSC Selection Process 2024

MPSC Exam Pattern 2024

The MPSC Exam consists of three distinct stages. Firstly, the MPSC Preliminary Examination consists of two papers, collectively amounting to 400 marks. Subsequently, the MPSC Mains Examination follows, comprising six papers with a cumulative value of 800 marks. Finally, the MPSC Interview, the last stage of the selection process, carries a weightage of 100 marks.

MPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

MPSC 2024 will consist of a Prelim Exam with 2 Papers, serving as a qualifier for the Main Exam, which comprises 6 mandatory Papers. The Prelim exam answer key is released soon after the exam, and candidates need a minimum of 33% in Prelims to be eligible for MPSC Mains.

MPSC Mains 2024 will have 6 Papers, and candidates securing the minimum cutoff marks will be issued admit cards for the Mains Exam.

  • Objective questions carry a negative marking of 1/4th for each wrong answer.
  • Decision-making questions in Paper II have no negative marking for incorrect answers.
  • Qualifying marks for General and reserved category candidates: 45 marks and 40 marks, respectively.
