Candidates must meet the educational, age, and nationality requirements as stipulated in the official MPSC advertisement.
Nationality
Candidate must possess Indian Citizenship. To avail of reservation benefits, the candidate must also be a Domicile of Maharashtra.

Educational Qualification

Technical Assistant, Tax Assistant, and Clerk-Typist: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University, or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Maharashtra.

Industry Inspector: Candidates must have a Diploma in Engineering (not specializing in Civil Engineering and allied branches such as Architecture) OR a Science Degree (other than a vocational degree) from a statutory university.

Typing Proficiency: For Tax Assistant, candidates must provide proof of passing the Government Commercial Certificate Examination for Marathi Typing (30 WPM) and English Typing (40 WPM). For the Clerk-Typist position, evidence of typing in either Marathi (30 WPM) OR English (40 WPM) is required.

Maharashtra Group-C Services Combined Preliminary Examination Selection Process 2025
The selection process is a multi-stage method to shortlist the appropriate candidate for the final appointment.
Written Examination (Combined Prelims): A common examination for all posts, for 100 marks.
Written Examination (Main Examination): Candidates who qualify the Prelims become eligible for the Main Examination which is for 400 marks.
Skill Test (for relevant positions): Typing Skill test is compulsory and qualifying for Tax Assistant and Clerk-Typist positions.
Documents Verification: All original documents, caste certificates and educational documents will be verified before the final appointment.
