TS DSC Notification 2024 For 11062 SGT, SA, PET Vacancies

TS DSC Notification 2024: The Telangana Directorate of School Education has announced a total of 11,062 vacancies for Special Education Teachers at the Upper Primary and Secondary levels, as well as for SAs, SGTs, LPs, PETs, and Special Education Teachers at the Primary level. The application process for the TS DSC Recruitment 2024 will begin online at schooledu.telangana.gov.in from March 4, 2024. The TS DSC Exam 2024 for various teaching positions was held from July 18 to August 5, 2024. The TS DSC Result 2024 has now been declared on September 30, 2024.

TS DSC Educational Qualification

• School Assistant: Must have a Graduate or Post Graduate degree in Mathematics, Physical Science, Biological Science, Social Studies, English, Telugu, Hindi, Urdu, Kannada, Tamil, Marathi, Sanskrit, or Physical Education (or its allied subjects as given in the Annexure to this G.O.) from a university recognized by UGC with 50% marks in either Graduation or Post Graduation (the minimum marks shall be 45% in the case of SC, ST, BC, or differently abled candidates) and Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Special Education in B.Ed. course with Mathematics as a Methodology subject from any college recognized by NCTE.
• Language Pandit: Bachelor's degree in Oriental Language (BOL) in Telugu; Post-Graduation degree in Telugu from a University recognized by UGC with at least 50% (for candidates from SC, ST, BC, or differently abled, the minimum marks shall be 45%); Pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Special Education in B.Ed course with Telugu as a Methodology subject; or Language Pandit Training in Telugu from any institution recognized by NCTE.
• Physical Education Teacher: Must hold a certificate or graduate diploma in physical education or a diploma in physical education from an institution recognized by the NCTE, as well as an intermediate diploma (or its equivalent) recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, with a minimum of 50% of marks.
• Secondary Grade Teachers (SGT): Must have passed the 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/Special Education in D.Ed. or 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education. Must have Intermediate / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) as recognized by the Board of Intermediate, Telangana with at least 50% Marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45%).

• Minimum Age Limit- 18 years
• Maximum Age Limit- 46 years

TS DSC Nationality and Domicile

• It is required of the candidate to be Indian national.
• The applicant must be a resident of Telangana and meet the qualifications for either local or non-local status.
