UGC NET Computer Science Exam 2024: The notification for the UGC NET Computer Science Exam 2024 has been released on 19 November 2024 by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates can now start submitting their online applications from 19 November 2024 to 10 December 2024 (up to 11:50 P.M.). The UGC NET 2024 exam will be conducted in a CBT-based mode for candidates aspiring to secure positions as Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellow.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET Computer Science Exam. The UGC NET 2024 exam will be held from 01 January 2025 to 19 January 2025 for the recruitment of Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) positions. UGC NET Computer Science Exam 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- The UGC NET Eligibility Criteria for the UGC NET Computer Science Exam requires candidates to have completed postgraduate studies in Computer Science from a UGC-recognized institution.
- Candidates from the General Category must have a minimum aggregate of 55%, while SC, ST, and OBC candidates should have a minimum of 50%.
- Candidates awaiting their PG results can also apply for the exam but must obtain the required percentage within two years from the date of the NET examination.
- PHD. Degree holders whose Master's level examinations have been completed by 19 September 1991, are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks required for the exam.
UGC NET Computer Science Exam Age Limit
- The UGC NET Computer Science Exam has an age limit of 30 years for JRF candidates.
- Candidates from OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, third gender categories, and women applicants can avail a 5-year age relaxation.
- L.L.M. degree holders are eligible for a 3-year age relaxation.
- Candidates with armed forces experience can get a 5-year relaxation based on their service duration.
- There is no upper age limit for Assistant Professors.
- The UGC-NET for Admission to PhD also has no upper age limit.

The UGC NET Computer Science Exam 2024 online application process is open from 19th November 2024 to 10th December 2024 (up to 11:50 PM). Candidates must submit the examination fee through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI by 11th December 2024 (up to 11:50 PM). Initially, NTA will publish the answer key on a provisional basis, and candidates can raise objections to any incorrect answers. A panel of subject experts will verify the challenges made by the candidates.
