Candidates must fulfill these conditions mentioned in the Cochin Port Authority Eligibility 2026 to be eligible for the exam. 

1. Age Limit Criteria

• Class I Posts: The maximum age limit is 30 years.

• Class II Posts: The maximum age limit is 35 years.

• Age Relaxation Rules: SC/ST candidates get a 5-year relaxation, and OBC candidates get a 3-year relaxation. PwBD candidates get 10 to 15 years of relaxation depending on their category. Port employees have an upper age limit of 55 years.

2. Educational Qualification

• AEE & AE (Civil): Engineering Degree in Civil branch.

• AEE & AE (Electrical): Engineering Degree in Electrical/Electronics branch.

• Accounts Officer Gr. I: Must be a member of ICAI or ICWAI.

• Programmer: Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Any Graduate with a PG Diploma in Computer Applications plus 2 years of regular programming experience

Cochin Port Authority Selection Process 2026

Cochin Port Authority Selection Process 2026  has two main stages to filter candidates who applied for the recruitment drive. 

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): It is an objective-type online exam of 100 marks. The paper will be in English and will take 90 minutes. Negative Marking is of ¼ marks.

• Personal Interview: Candidates will be called for an interview in a ratio between 1:6 and 1:12 based on their exam scores. The interview carries 15 marks.

Cochin Port Authority Salary 2026

Selected candidates can get the Cochin Port Authority Salary 2026 depending on the posts and pay level. 

• Class I Executive Level Posts: Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000.

• Class II Executive Level Posts: Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 1,40,000.

Apart from the basic salary, employees will also receive Dearness Allowance (DA), cafeteria allowances at 35% of basic pay, house rent allowance or port quarters, medical care perks, gratuity, and leave encashment benefits. The National Pension Scheme rules will govern their jobs
