The selection process for the CSL Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 is structured into two distinct phases. This ensures a comprehensive evaluation of candidates' knowledge, aptitude, and skills relevant to the Executive Trainee roles. The selection process is divided into two distinct phases.
Phase-I - Objective Type Online Test (60 marks)
This test will have a duration of 60 minutes, comprising 60 multiple-choice questions.
Sections include General Awareness (5 marks), English Language (5 marks), Numerical Ability (5 marks), Reasoning Ability (5 marks), and Subject-Based questions (40 marks).
Each question carries one mark, with no negative marking.

Candidates meeting these criteria will proceed to certificate verification (with a ratio of 6 candidates against one post), after which sufficient candidates will be called for Phase-II. Final rank lists will be based on total marks.
Executive Trainees at CSL receive a competitive compensation package and a clear career progression path. During the initial training year, a fixed stipend is provided. Upon successful completion, they are appointed to a managerial role with a structured pay scale and various benefits.
During the one-year training period, Executive Trainees will receive a consolidated monthly stipend of ₹50,000/-. An additional stipend of up to ₹3,000/- per month may be provided for extra training on closed holidays. After successful training, they will be appointed as Assistant Manager in E-1 Grade with a pay scale of ₹40000-3%-140000. The pay will be fixed at the start of the scale. The approximate annual CTC at the minimum of the E1 scale is ₹14.92 lakhs. Postings may be at CSL, Kochi, or other CSL units/project sites including Mumbai, Kolkata, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
