DRDO DGRE Chandigarh has announced walk-in recruitment for JRF and RA positions for multiple engineering and science branches. Interviews are scheduled for 29 & 30 December 2025. Eligible candidates with valid GATE scores can directly appear with forms and documents.

Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO) has rolled out a fresh set of opportunities for aspiring researchers through its DGRE (Defence Geophysical Research Establishment) Chandigarh unit. As explained in the official update, DRDO has opened doors for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) and Research Associates (RA) with direct walk-in interviews this December.

These openings are perfect for candidates dreaming of careers at DRDO, ISRO, or other premier research organisations, especially those carrying a valid GATE score, even on the lower side.

DRDO DGRE Walk-In Interview Dates 2025

  • 29 December 2025 – JRF (Computer Science, IT, Environmental Science, Earth Science, Geophysics, MSc branches)

  • 30 December 2025 – JRF (Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering)

Candidates must report at 8:30 AM and submit their application form by 10:00 AM at the venue.
