• All candidates must have consistent scores of above 65% marks (aggregate) in all examinations starting from Class X onwards, including all semesters/years of the qualifying examination.

• For SC/ST candidates, the relaxed qualifying norm is a minimum of 60% marks (aggregate) in all semesters/years in the qualifying examination.

• Only qualifications obtained through a full-time program will be considered.

• Candidates in the final year of Engineering degree/Diploma programs who are awaiting results or expect results by August 01, 2025, may also apply.

FCRI Selection Process 2025

The selection process for Trainee Engineers under FCRI Recruitment 2025 includes a written test followed by an interview. Candidates must qualify the written test to be considered for the interview stage.

1. Written Test:

• Method: Multiple Choice Questions

• Duration: 90 Minutes

• Sections: General Aptitude (Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Numerical Ability) with 30 Questions; Engineering Discipline with 50 Questions.

• Syllabus: Broadly based on full-time 4-year Graduate Engineering programs / full-time 3-year Diploma Engineering programs.

• Qualifying Criteria: Minimum 30% marks in the Test is required to qualify for the interview.

2. Interview:

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the written test and interview.

• Original documents must be produced for verification at the time of the interview.

FCRI Salary and Job Profile 2025

Selected candidates in the FCRI Recruitment 2025 will initially serve as Trainee Engineers on a fixed-term contract. They will receive a consolidated stipend, with potential for engagement as Associate/Assistant Engineers based on performance.

• Trainee Engineer (Graduate B.E/B.Tech): Rs.28000/- Stipend

• Trainee Engineer (Diploma): Rs.21000/- Stipend

After a Session-ending Assessment, trainees may be engaged as Associate Engineer (Graduate) / Assistant Engineer (Diploma) for a year, extendable up to three years. A 10% annual increment is applicable based on satisfactory performance. No other allowances apply. This engagement is purely on a short-term tenure basis and does not guarantee future regular employment.
