GATE 2026 Shift 2 examination concluded successfully across all centres. According to initial reactions, the paper was moderate in difficulty, with questions largely based on core syllabus concepts and numerical problem-solving. GATE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines and Tips

Aspirants should carefully read all instructions printed on the admit card, including requirements related to photographs, reporting time, and exam conduct. GATE 2026 Exam Dates and Shift Timings

GATE 2026 will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, with two shifts scheduled each day.

  • Morning Shift: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM

  • Afternoon Shift: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Candidates should report to the examination centre 60–90 minutes before the time mentioned on the admit card for biometric and document verification. Late entry after gate closure is generally not allowed.
