GATE Admit Card 2026 is a compulsory document for all candidates appearing in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. As per the official schedule, the admit card is expected to be released on 2 January 2026 by IIT Guwahati through the GOAPS portal.

GATE Exam Date 2026 Out
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering/ GATE 2026 is scheduled to take place on 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th February 2026 for general aptitude and the candidate's preferred subjects.
The GATE 2026 exam covers 30 subjects and runs in two shifts daily: mornings from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and afternoons from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. It will happen at 235 centres spread across 8 IIT zones.

How to Retrieve Password & Enrollment ID to Download the GATE 2026 Hall Ticket?
For applicants who forget their enrollment ID and password while downloading the GATE Admit Card 2026, the steps provided below need to be followed:
GATE Hall Ticket 2026: Retrieving Enrollment ID:

Click on "Forgot Enrollment ID."

Submit the registered mobile number.

The enrollment ID will be sent to the applicant's registered mobile number and email ID.
GATE Hall Ticket 2025: Retrieving Password:

Click on "Request for OTP."

A one-time password (OTP) for verification will be sent to the registered mobile number.

After submitting the OTP, applicants can proceed to modify their password.
