NPCIL Final Result 2026 Check Waiting List Candidates
NPCIL is a Government of India company that recruits Executive Trainees in different engineering branches. This recruitment uses GATE scores for shortlisting, but the interview is the most important part of the selection process.
NPCIL recruits Executive Trainees in these engineering branches:
Mechanical Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Instrumentation Engineering
Civil Engineering
Candidates must have a valid GATE score from any of these exams:
GATE 2026
GATE 2025
GATE 2024
Step 1: Candidates are shortlisted based on their GATE score.
Step 2: Shortlisted candidates attend an interview.
Step 3: The final selection is based only on the interview performance.
This means that once you reach the interview stage, your GATE score or rank is no longer considered. A candidate with a lower GATE rank can still get selected if they perform better in the interview.
