For IIT Patna: Students seeking migration to a PhD with a fellowship after completing four semesters of M.Sc. must achieve a minimum CPI of 8.0. PhD regulations will be applied once the student's status changes.
For IIT (ISM) Dhanbad: Candidates with color blindness or uni-ocularity are not eligible for certain programs. PwD candidates must be capable of independent fieldwork without assistance across various terrains.
General PwD Note: Academic departments may adjust curriculum, assessment methods, and program duration for PwD students, along with implementing reasonable accommodations. Such changes require approval from the Institute's Senate.
