BITSAT Results 2026 are among the most eagerly awaited announcements for engineering aspirants seeking admission to the BITS Pilani campuses in Goa and Hyderabad. Conducted in two sessions, the BITSAT exam tests candidates on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English Proficiency, and Logical Reasoning.
The results are released as a scorecard, showing the total marks as well as subject-wise scores. These results determine eligibility for admission, inclusion in the merit list, and consideration for various branches and campuses. Students can access their BITSAT 2026 scorecards online using their application number and password, and it is crucial to keep track of the official dates to avoid missing any important deadlines.
The BITSAT exam is typically conducted in two sessions. Candidates have the option to appear for one or both sessions, with the best of the two scores being considered for the final BITSAT 2026 merit list.

After the results are announced, BITS Pilani releases the BITSAT Admit List 2026.
Admit List: Contains the names of candidates who have cleared the cut-off and are offered admission in the first iteration.
Wait List: Contains candidates who have not been allotted a seat in the current round but may get an offer in subsequent iterations if seats remain vacant.
BITSAT 2026 merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam. However, there is a strict eligibility criterion regarding board exams. To be included in the merit list, candidates must have:
Passed the 12th class examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or Biology).
Obtained a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in PCM/PCB.
Obtained at least 60% marks in each of the subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology) individually.
Tie-Breaking Rules
If two or more candidates score the same marks in the BITSAT 2026 result, the following tie-breaking criteria are used:
First, marks in Mathematics/Biology are considered.
Then, marks in Physics.
Then, marks in Chemistry.
Finally, if the tie persists, the PCM/PCB marks in the 12th-grade board exam are compared.
