IIIT Agartala Admission Process 2024

1. Appear for JEE Main 2024. JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is a prerequisite for admission to all IIITs in India.
2. Register for JoSAA 2024. JoSAA is a joint counseling process conducted by the Ministry of Education (MoE) for admission to engineering colleges in India.
3. Fill in the JoSAA choice filling form. In the choice filling form, you will need to list your preferred colleges and courses in order of priority.
4. Participate in the JoSAA seat allotment process. JoSAA will allot seats to candidates based on their JEE Main rank, choices filled in the choice filling form, and the availability of seats.
5. Accept your seat and pay the admission fee. If you are allotted a seat at IIIT Agartala, you will need to accept the seat and pay the admission fee to secure your admission.

Eligibility Criteria For IIIT Agartala Admission 2024 ( B. Tech )

• Passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• Secured a minimum of 75% aggregate marks in the 10+2 examination or equivalent.
• Obtained a valid JEE Main 2024 score.

• Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PwD) are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate marks required.
• Candidates who are in the top 20 ranks of their respective state board qualifying exam are also eligible for admission, irrespective of their JEE Main 2024 score.

Selection Criteria For IIIT Agartala Admission 2024 ( B. Tech )

• Candidates must register for JEE Main 2024 and appear for the exam.
• After the JEE Main 2024 results are declared, candidates must participate in JoSAA counseling.
• During JoSAA counseling, candidates will be able to choose their preferred colleges and courses.
• Seats at IIIT Agartala will be allotted to candidates based on their JEE Main 2024 score and preferences.

IIIT Agartala Cutoff 2023 For B.Tech

Eligibility Criteria  For IIIT Agartala Admission 2024 (M.Tech )

• Candidates must have a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or an equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
• Candidates who belong to the Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), or Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) categories are required to have a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or an equivalent CGPA.
• Candidates must have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline.

• Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) : Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) : Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Mechanical Engineering (ME) : Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a closely related field.

• SC, ST, and PwD candidates are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum aggregate marks required for admission.
• OBC-NCL candidates are eligible for a 3% relaxation in the minimum aggregate marks required for admission.

Selection Criteria For IIIT Agartala Admission 2024 (M.Tech )

• GATE Score: Candidates must have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline. The GATE score will be given a weightage of 80% in the selection process.
• Academic Performance: Candidates will also be evaluated on their academic performance in their undergraduate degree program. The academic performance will be given a weightage of 20% in the selection process.
• Candidates must have a valid GATE 2024 score in the relevant discipline.
• Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the respective program.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for admission based on their GATE 2024 score, followed by a personal interview.
