JEE Main 2026 Latest Updates: Exam Date


The JEE Main 2026 exam will be held in two separate sessions to give candidates more flexibility and multiple chances to improve their scores. The first session is scheduled from January 21 to January 30, 2026, and will be the opening opportunity for students to attempt the exam. The second session is planned from April 1 to April 10, 2026, allowing students to revise, analyze mistakes from Session 1, and attempt the exam again with better preparation.

JEE Main 2026 Registration Fee 

The registration fee for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 currently follows the previous session’s fee structure, and it will be updated once the official notification for the new session is released. As per the earlier structure, male candidates belonging to the unreserved category are required to pay ₹1,000, while those from the General EWS and OBC categories need to pay ₹900. Female candidates from the Unreserved, General EWS, and OBC categories have a fee of ₹800. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, and transgender categories must pay ₹500 for registration.
