JEE Main 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

  • At least two hours before the JEE Main 2024 exam starts, candidates must arrive at the exam centre.
  • After the gate closes, candidates won't be able to enter the JEE Main 2024 Exam Centre .
  • It is advised that candidates register using ABC ID or Digi Locker. To have their biometrics captured at the test centre, applicants who did not register using the Digi Locker / ABC ID (or who opted for authentication using non-Aadhaar methods) must arrive early on exam day—at least one hour early.
  • Keep a copy of their JEE Main Hall ticket, a valid ID, and two passport-sized photos with you.
  • Mobile phones, calculators, slide rules, log tables, printed or written materials, pieces of paper, pagers, and other electronic devices are not permitted to be carried by them.

JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 Exam Pattern (BE/B.Tech)

A three-hour computer-based test (CBT) will be used for JEE Main Paper 1 B.E./B. Tech. PwD candidates have four hours to finish the exam. There are multiple-choice questions in Section A and questions with numerical answers in Section B. Any five of the ten questions in Section B must be attempted by candidates.
