
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application window for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 in response to requests from candidates who missed the earlier registration or fee payment deadlines. Aspirants can now apply or complete their registration by visiting the official portal at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The registration portal opens today in the afternoon and will close on March 13, 2026, at 9 PM, with fee payment deadline extended to March 13, 2026, 11:50 PM.
In response to requests from candidates, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to reopen the registration portal for JEE Main 2026 Session 2. The online application window will be available from 12 March 2026 (Afternoon) to 13 March 2026, 9:00 PM, with fee payment allowed until 11:50 PM on 13 March 2026.
Candidates are advised to carefully ensure that all information entered is accurate and complete, as this is a special extended period and no corrections will be permitted after submission.
The online application for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 was initially open from February 1 to February 25, 2026. Candidates were also given a chance to correct application details from February 17–28, 2026. However, following the closure of the portal, many candidates requested an extension to complete their submissions. In response, the NTA has reopened the registration specifically for candidates who missed earlier deadlines.
Important Note: Candidates who have already successfully submitted applications for Session 2 do not need to re-register and will not be allowed to make changes to their submitted applications.
Candidates eligible to appear for Session 2 include:
Students who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025
Students appearing in Class 12 in 2026
There is no age limit for applicants
Candidates who applied and paid for Session 1 can log in using their previous credentials. Fresh applicants must complete a new registration.

Note: Students who have already paid for Session 1 will need to make a separate fee payment for Session 2.
Session 2 Exam Dates: April 2 – April 9, 2026
Admit Cards: Expected 3–4 days before the exam
Candidates are advised to check their admit cards thoroughly and follow all instructions provided by NTA.
