
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the results for the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 on 16th February 2026. This session was conducted in January 2026 for Paper 1 (B.E. / B. Tech.). The examination took place across 658 centres in 326 cities worldwide.
The Paper 1 exam was held on January 21, 22, 23, 24, and 28, 2026. It was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in 13 different languages. Out of 13,55,293 registered candidates, a total of 13,04,653 students appeared for the exam. This represents a high attendance rate of 96.26%,
In this session, 12 candidates achieved a perfect NTA score of 100 percentile. These top performers represent various states across India:

The NTA Score is a normalized score based on relative performance in a single shift. It transforms raw marks into a scale from 100 to 0. This score is not the same as a percentage. Final ranks will be calculated after Session 2 by taking the best of the two NTA Scores.
