JEE Main 2026 Admit Card, Release Date And Steps to Download

JEE Mains 2026 admit card is a very important document that is issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for candidates appearing for JEE Main examination. The candidates can download their JEE Mains admit card online at jeemain.nta.nic.in a few days prior to the exam by logging in with their application number and date of birth.  

The admit card indicates the exam centre, the roll number, date of birth, paper, shift timing and important instructions. On the day of the exam, the candidates must carry a downloaded, printed admit card and a valid picture ID to the exam centre for entry; there will be no entry permitted without these documents.

JEE Mains 2026 Exam Day Instructions

 Candidates must read the instructions on the admit card and only bring what is expressly permitted. Candidates must follow the dress code. Do not wear metallic clothing or heavy clothing with embellishments, and avoid wearing caps, mufflers, or jewellery. Provisions for diabetic students are clear (such as transparent water bottles and fruits).

Entry is only permitted for registered candidates with a valid admit card as ID. If a candidate enters after the exam starts, then they are not allowed to take the exam. Items to carry at the entrance centre are given below:-

• Valid Photo ID (Aadhar, PAN card, Voter ID, etc.)

• Passport-size photo (same as provided in the application form)
