JEE Main Result 2026 Session 1 has been released today, 16 February 2026, by the National Testing Agency. Candidates can now check and download their scorecard from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and date of birth or password. The result shows subject wise percentile, total NTA score, and JEE Advanced eligibility status.

JEE MAIN Result 2026 (OUT): The National Testing Agency has officially declared the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result today. Lakhs of engineering aspirants who appeared in the January session can now access their scorecards online. The result is available only through the official NTA portal.

Candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth or password to view their NTA scores. The scorecard includes subject wise percentile in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, total percentile score, and qualification status for JEE Advanced 2026.

Students may experience slow website response due to heavy traffic. This is normal on result day. If the page does not load, wait for some time and try again.

JEE MAIN Result 2026: 10 Highlights 

  • The exam was conducted at 658 centres across 326 cities, including 15 cities outside India.

  • A total of 13,55,293 candidates registered for Paper 1 this year.

  • Out of them, 13,04,653 students appeared, recording a 96.26% attendance rate.

  • The examination was held in CBT mode in 13 languages.

  • 12 candidates secured a perfect 100.0000000 NTA Score in Session 1.

  • State-wise toppers have been announced for all states and union territories.

  • Category-wise toppers for General, Gen-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwBD have been declared.

  • The top female candidate scored 99.9969766 percentile in Paper 1.

  • NTA withheld the results of 68 candidates due to unfair means practices.

  • Final AIR will be prepared based on the best NTA Score from both JEE Main 2026 sessions.

JEE MAIN 2026 NTA Notification

Earlier, as per the Information Bulletin, the result was expected on 12 February 2026. However, NTA postponed the release and later confirmed that the result would be declared on or before 16 February 2026. Now, on 16 February 2026, the Session 1 result for Paper 1 B.E. and B.Tech has been officially released. Candidates can download their scorecards in PDF format.

 

The examination was conducted on 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28 January across 658 centres in 326 cities, including 15 international locations. A total of 13,55,293 candidates registered, of which 13,04,653 appeared, recording 96.26% attendance. The CBT exam was held in 13 languages. Twelve candidates secured a perfect 100 NTA score. Category-wise and state-wise toppers have been announced. Results of Paper 2 will be declared later, and final ranks will consider the best of two sessions.

 

JEE MAIN Result 2026 Out?

Yes, it has been released.

The login link is now active on jeemain.nta.nic.in, and candidates can access their scorecards by logging in with their Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.

How Does the Login Window for Session 1 Look? What You Have to Enter?

The login window is simple and student-friendly.

You will be asked to enter:

  • Application Number

  • Date of Birth or Password

  • Security CAPTCHA Code

After entering the correct details, click on “Submit” to open your scorecard dashboard.

Can I Download the Result in PDF Form?

Yes. After logging in, the scorecard will be available in PDF format. Students should download and save the PDF on their device. It is important to keep a printed copy for counselling and admission processes such as JoSAA.

NTA does not send a hard copy of the result by post.
