JEE Main has different papers for engineering, architecture and planning, so the maximum marks vary depending on the programme you choose. Paper 1 for B.E./B. Tech is expected to carry 300 marks, while Paper 2A for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B.Planning are expected to carry 400 marks each.
