What is JEE Main Percentile Score?

Scores based on the relative performance of every candidate are known as percentile scores. For every exam session, the marks obtained are converted into a scale from 100 to 0. The percentile score represents the proportion of the applicants who obtained raw scores that are EQUAL TO or BELOW (that is, the same or lower) that specific percentile. As a result, each session's top scorer will get the same percentile of 100, which is desired. Additionally, the scores that fall between the top and lowest are converted to the relevant percentiles. When creating merit lists, the percentile score—which is the examination's normalized score rather than the candidate's raw marks—will be used.
