A good JEE Main score does not by itself settle your admission eligibility. Your Class 12 performance, board percentile and subjects also matter when you are applying to institutes such as NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.
The Minimum Marks Required in JEE Main 2027 will be confirmed by NTA in the official Information Bulletin. Until then, the existing admission criteria provide the relevant benchmark for understanding the requirements.
JEE Main 2027 Minimum Marks: Key Requirements

Meeting the required Class 12 percentage does not mean you have met the JEE Main qualifying cut-off. Similarly, qualifying JEE Main does not guarantee admission to a specific college or programme, as admission depends on the applicable institute and counselling criteria.
Important Points About Minimum Marks in JEE Main 2027
Keep these points in mind when checking your eligibility:

75% is not the JEE Main examination cut-off: It is the current Class 12 requirement for the specified institute admissions.

Top 20 percentile is an alternative: You may satisfy the applicable requirement through your board's top 20 percentile criterion.
