The IPMAT exam tests the applicant’s aptitude, logical reasoning, and proficiency in English and Mathematics. Those who clear the IPMAT exam cut-offs will be shortlisted for further rounds of the selection process, which includes a personal interview. The interview judges the students’ level of confidence, communication skills, general awareness, persuasion skills, and knowledge.

What is the eligibility criteria for the IPMAT exam?

To be able to take the IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) exam, you need to meet certain conditions:
  1. You should have completed your 10+2/XII/HSC exam in 2022, 2023, or you are currently appearing for it in 2024.
  2. You must have passed your 10th class in 2020 or later.
  3. If you are in the General/OBC/EWS category, you need at least 60% in both Class X and XII. For SC, ST, and PWD (DAP) category candidates, the requirement is 55% in both Class X and XII.
  4. Your birth date should be on or after August 01, 2004. There's a relaxation of 5 years for candidates in the SC/ST/PwD category (born on or after August 01, 1999).
The IPMAT exam happens online, and the test centers are decided by IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak. The IPMAT 2024 exam is scheduled for May 23, 2024 (Afternoon shift) in CBT mode. You can register for the exam starting in the first week of March 2024.
