How PW Helped Aradhya Achieve His IIM Rohtak Dream Through IPMAT

IPMAT preparation requires aspirants to balance multiple aspects at the same time; from building concepts and practising regularly to managing school commitments and preparing for the interview stage. Without the right approach and guidance, it can become difficult to stay consistent and track progress.

Aradhya Padhi experienced many of these challenges during his journey to IIM Rohtak. From managing Class 12 boards with IPMAT preparation to handling backlogs and recovering from setbacks, he focused on improving his preparation with consistent practice, along with Physics Wallah's learning resources, and timely guidance at different stages of his journey.

Aradhya's Early Goal of Entering an IIM Through IPM

For Aradhya, IPMAT was not a decision he made at the last moment. While exploring career options after choosing Commerce, he discovered the IPM programme and found a path that matched his aspirations.

He started preparing with a clear goal in mind: securing admission to an IIM directly after Class 12.

"Maine 10th se hi decide kar liya tha ki mujhe IPM ke through IIM jaana hai."

Having this clarity early helped him stay focused when the preparation became demanding. 

"Mujhe starting se hi pata tha ki mujhe IIM jaana hai, toh uske hisaab se hi preparation karni thi."

This early direction helped him build the mindset required for a competitive exam like IPMAT, where consistency over a long period becomes more important than short bursts of preparation.

Managing Class 12 Boards Along With IPMAT Preparation

Once Class 12 began, Aradhya had to handle two major academic goals together. Preparing for boards while also staying consistent with IPMAT practice became one of his first challenges.

Like many aspirants, he initially questioned whether managing both would be possible.

"Initially mujhe doubt tha ki dono manage ho payega."

Instead of trying to follow an unrealistic schedule, he gradually learned to adjust his priorities according to the situation. 

"November tak main IPMAT ko zyada time deta tha, phir boards ke time pe boards pe focus kiya."

This approach helped him avoid the pressure of doing everything at once. Rather than dividing his attention equally throughout the year, he learned when to prioritise each goal and continued moving forward.

How PW Helped Aradhya Stay Consistent Through His IPMAT Preparation

As Aradhya progressed with his preparation, he realised that following the right resources consistently was more important than trying multiple sources. He decided to rely on PW IPMAT and focus on completing his preparation with a clear approach.

"Maine PW IPMAT join kiya tha kyunki mujhe faculty aur unka teaching style achha laga."

"Maine almost saare DPPs kiye the. Mocks aur PYQs bhi regularly solve kiye."

The combination of lectures, Daily Practice Problems, mocks, and previous-year questions helped him strengthen his preparation. 

When family circumstances later affected his routine and created backlogs, the same consistency helped him recover without losing momentum.

"Main Saturdays aur Sundays pe backlogs complete karta tha. Kabhi-kabhi live class skip karke bhi pehle backlog khatam karta tha."

The flexibility of revisiting recorded classes helped him manage pending topics without feeling disconnected from his preparation. Slowly, he cleared his backlogs and returned to his regular study routine.

Aradhya Turned an IPMAT Indore Setback Into a Stronger Comeback

After putting months of effort into his preparation, Aradhya faced one of the most difficult moments of his journey when the IPMAT Indore results were announced. 

"IPMAT Indore mein VARC cutoff clear nahi hua tha, toh thoda bura laga tha kyunki preparation ki thi aur expectation bhi thi."

Instead of staying stuck on the result, he shifted his focus towards the opportunities that were still ahead. The support of his parents and his own belief in his preparation helped him regain confidence.

"Comeback hamesha setback se bada hona chahiye."

This phase taught him that setbacks are a part of competitive exams, but the ability to continue preparing matters more than one unsuccessful attempt.

How PW Helped Aradhya Prepare for the IIM Rohtak Interview

Clearing the written stage was only the first step. The interview required a different kind of preparation, where confidence, communication, and the ability to handle unexpected questions became important.

To prepare for this stage, Aradhya practised through PW's interview mocks, which helped him understand how to present his thoughts clearly and approach different types of questions.

"PW ke mock interviews diye the, usse mujhe kaafi help mili ki interview mein kaise answer karna hai aur kaise present karna hai."

Instead of trying to memorise every possible answer, he focused on understanding how to respond naturally.

"Jo questions nahi aate the, maine honestly bol diya ki mujhe nahi pata, lekin main seekhna chahta hoon."

Many questions were based on his interest in the stock market, and because he spoke honestly about topics he genuinely followed, the conversation became more natural. The preparation from mock interviews helped him approach the final stage with greater confidence.

Aradhya's Advice for Future IPMAT Aspirants

Looking back at his journey, Aradhya believes that success in IPMAT does not come from constantly changing strategies. Instead, staying consistent with preparation, practising regularly, and learning from mistakes helped him move closer to his goal.

"Main yahi bolunga ki pehle lectures complete karo aur DPP properly lagao."

For him, understanding concepts before moving ahead was more important than rushing through the syllabus. 

"Main yahi bolunga ki ek source ko follow karo, usko properly complete karo aur uske saath consistent raho." 

He also believes that aspirants should not lose confidence when they face difficulties during preparation. His own journey had moments of doubt and setbacks, but continuing the effort helped him eventually secure admission to IIM Rohtak.

Aradhya's experience shows that IPMAT preparation is not always a straight path. There will be challenges, unexpected setbacks, and phases where progress feels slow. However, with consistency, the right approach, and the willingness to improve, aspirants can continue moving towards their goals.
