The IPMAT 2024 selection procedure involves the following key steps:- Aptitude Test [65% weightage]: Candidates will undergo an aptitude test conducted by IIM Indore that assesses their quantitative ability, verbal ability, and general awareness. The test consists of 90 questions (30 MCQs in Quantitative Ability, 15 SA questions in Quantitative Ability, and 45 MCQs in Verbal Ability) to be completed in 120 minutes. Each correct answer in the MCQ sections carries 4 marks, with a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking in the Quantitative Ability SA section.

- Composite Score Calculation : The final selection is based on a composite score, which is calculated as 65% of the Aptitude Test Score and 35% of the Personal Interview score.
- Merit List Generation: IIM Indore will publish the final merit list based on the composite scores, with category-wise allocation of seats.
