What Is the IPMAT Rohtak Exam?

The IPMAT Rohtak Exam is the entrance test for admission to IIM Rohtak's 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM).

IIM Rohtak is one of India's leading management institutes. Through the IPM programme, students can join IIM Rohtak immediately after Class 12 instead of appearing for CAT after graduation.

The programme combines a BBA and MBA into a single five-year course. Students who complete all five years receive an integrated BBA + MBA degree.

IPM Rohtak Programme Structure

The IPM programme is divided into 15 terms over 5 years.

• Years 1–3: Students study Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Humanities, Business Communication, Management, and Foreign Languages.

• Years 4–5: Students study advanced management subjects similar to IIM Rohtak's MBA programme.

Students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 5.0 after the third year to continue into the MBA phase. Those who choose to leave after three years (or have a CGPA between 4.0 and 5.0) receive a BBA degree.

IPMAT Rohtak Eligibility Criteria

IPMAT Rohtak Admission Process

• Stage 1: Online Registration – Fill out the IPM application form and pay the non-refundable registration fee.

• Stage 2: IPM Aptitude Test (IPMAT 2026) – Appear for the entrance test covering Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.

• Stage 3: Personal Interview (PI) – Shortlisted candidates are invited for a PI based on eligibility and IPMAT score.

• Stage 4: Final Merit List – Prepared using IPMAT (55%), Class XII (20%), Class X (10%), and PI (15%).

• Stage 5: Provisional Admission – Selected candidates receive an offer letter and must pay the Offer Acceptance Amount (OAA) within the stipulated time.

• Stage 6: Reporting & Document Verification – Candidates report to the institute for registration, verification of documents, and commencement of the academic session.

5. Pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹4,937 through the online payment gateway.

IPMAT Rohtak Exam Pattern

The IPMAT exam tests a candidate's aptitude, reasoning, and English skills.

• Total Questions: 120

• Duration: 120 minutes

• Marking Scheme: +4 for every correct answer and −1 for every incorrect answer.

Candidates applying for the Integrated Programme in Law (IPL) must also answer 20 Legal Reasoning questions in an additional 20-minute section.

IPMAT Rohtak Exam Date 2027

The IPMAT Rohtak 2027 exam is expected to be held in the second week of May 2027. The official exam date will be announced by IIM Rohtak along with the admission notification.
