NLU Lucknow (RMLNLU): Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral law programs. Established in 2005, it is ranked 21 among the top NLUs as per the NIRF ranking 2023. The university offers BA LLB and LLM law programs as undergraduate and postgraduate courses respectively. The LLM course duration is 1 year while the doctoral law program i.e., PhD Law is 6 years. The university offers courses only in full-time mode.

RMLNLU L.L.M Eligibility Criteria

RMLNLU PhD Admission

• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria stated by the RMLNLU Lucknow before applying for the PhD admission.
• Fill out the application form with the mandatory details and upload the documents.
• The university conducts a National Level Entrance Test for the admission process. Candidates have to appear for the same and clear it with qualifying marks.
• The test includes objective-type questions. The written test comprises 70 marks. The questions will be based on Research Methodology and the main subject specific having 50% weightage each in the test.
• Candidates have to obtain an aggregate of 50% in the test to qualify for the interview.
• Based on the performance in the test and interview, candidates will get shortlisted.
• To confirm their seats, candidates have to complete the admission formalities and pay the admission fee.
