FMGE 2025 Exam Date: The FMGE December 2025 exam will be held on January 17, 2026, as per the latest update from the National Board of Examinations (NBE). This exam is for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who have completed their MBBS or medical degree from another country and want to get a license to practice in India. 

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is held twice a year  in June and December. The test is conducted online and includes 300 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into two parts. It checks how well candidates understand medical subjects. Candidates are advised to visit the official NBE website regularly for updates about the application form, exam center details, admit card, and other important information.

FMGE December 2025 Exam Date Announced

According to the official exam calendar announced by NBEMS for the year 2025, the FMGE 2025 Exam Date December session is scheduled to be conducted on January 17, 2026 (Saturday). The exam will be conducted in two shifts on the same day to accommodate a large number of candidates:

• Shift 1: 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM

• Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

This timeline provides candidates sufficient time to prepare following the earlier FMGE June 2025 session, which was held on July 26, 2025. The December session occurring in January the following year is the pattern NBEMS has established to fit the academic and administrative calendar effectively.
