FMGE Document Submission Deadline Extended To January 7
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has extended the deadline for submitting deficient documents for the FMGE December 2025 session. Candidates can now upload required documents online at exam.natboard.edu.in until January 7, 2026.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced an extension for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2025 session's document submission deadline.
The FMGE Document Submission Deadline has been extended to the FMGE December 2025 exam, which is scheduled for January 17, 2026, with admit cards expected around January 14, 2026. Only eligible candidates approved by the NMC and MoHFW will proceed to take the examination.

Important Guidelines Regarding FMGE Exam
NBEMS identified several application deficiencies, and affected candidates were notified via email. All required documents must be submitted correctly and on time to ensure eligibility. The authority can validate the documents provided in the form and allow the candidates to appear in the FMGE exam.

Common issues observed include not submitting the primary medical qualification degree and/or provisional pass certificate.

It must be attested by the Indian Embassy in the country of origin.

Problems related to the eligibility certificate from the National Medical Commission (NMC), admission letters, proof of passing NEET-UG (where applicable), and proof of citizenship were also noted.

Additionally, discrepancies such as name/date of birth mismatches and missing supporting documents for institutional transfers require immediate attention.

Only candidates whose applications are complete and approved by the NMC and MoHFW will be deemed eligible to appear for the FMGE.
