NBEMS provides an Edit Window from September 29 to September 30, 2026. During this window, candidates can edit most fields. However, fields such as Name, Nationality, Email ID, Aadhaar, Mobile Number, and Test City cannot be changed.
A Selective Edit Window will be open from October 3 to October 19, 2026, to fix incorrect photographs, signatures, or thumb impressions. Candidates should check official notices before making updates.
Candidates can log in to the portal at natboard.edu.in to track their status. The portal allows applicants to verify if the form was successfully submitted, confirm payment receipt, check for document deficiencies, and download a copy of the final application.
Nationality: The applicant must be a citizen of India or an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI).
Primary Qualification: Candidates must hold a primary medical qualification (such as MBBS or equivalent) confirmed by the concerned Indian Embassy as a recognised qualification for enrolment as a medical practitioner in that country.
Cut-Off Date: The final examination result for the primary medical degree must be declared on or before August 31, 2026.
Eligibility Certificate: Applicants should hold an Eligibility Certificate issued by NMC (or erstwhile MCI), or satisfy the relevant NEET-UG qualification conditions specified in the bulletin.
NBEMS reviews submitted forms and images after the online registration is completed for the FMGE October exam. Candidates with deficient documents can upload correct files through the portal until October 21, 2026.
Test city details will be shared on October 20, 2026, followed by admit card downloads on October 27, 2026. The computer-based test takes place on October 31, 2026, with results announced by November 30, 2026. Candidates who pass will receive a Screening Test Pass Certificate after in-person document verification.
