Based on the preferences submitted by candidates, AIIMS prepares and releases the mock round seat allotment result for INI CET Counselling 2026. This helps candidates understand their possible allotment before the final submission of choices.
The final submission stage allows candidates to make last-minute changes before the final seat allotment process.
This is the final opportunity to edit or modify preferences.
Candidates who fail to submit preferences for a counselling round will not be considered for subsequent rounds of INI CET counselling 2026.
AIIMS releases the final seat allotment list on the official website. The list contains details of candidates who have been allotted seats based on merit, category, and preferences filled during counselling.
Candidates allotted a seat must log in to their account and choose one of the following options:
Accept the allotted seat and confirm that you do not wish to participate in further counselling rounds.
Accept the allotted seat while expressing willingness to participate in the second round of counselling for possible upgradation.
If upgraded in the next round, the previously allotted seat will automatically be cancelled and allotted to another candidate according to merit.
Candidates must join the upgraded seat. Failure to do so may result in a penalty of INR 3 lakh.
Important Note
There is no option to directly refuse the allotted seat.
If a candidate fails to select any option within the specified time, the allotted seat will be forfeited.
Such candidates will become ineligible for further counselling rounds, except for the open round of seat allocation.
Candidates who accept the allotted seat must report to the respective institute for document verification and admission formalities.
Failure to report within the given timeline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Such candidates will not be eligible for further counselling rounds.
However, they may still participate in the open round of INI CET counselling.
The INI CET 2026 counselling results are released separately for each counselling round in PDF format on the official website. AIIMS declared the Round 2 seat allotment result on January 9, 2026.
Following the seat allotment, candidates must log in and select one of the provided options by the given deadline. These options dictate their participation in further rounds of INI CET counselling.
Option 1: Accept the allotted seat and choose not to participate in any subsequent rounds of INI CET counselling.
Option 2: Accept the allotted seat but wish to participate in later INI CET 2026 counselling rounds for a possible upgrade.
It is important to note that if candidates choosing Option 2 are allotted a new seat in a subsequent round, they must join the newly designated college by the specified date. The seat initially accepted will then become vacant and will be re-allotted to another candidate based on merit. Failure to join the newly allotted seat will result in a penalty of Rs. 3 lakhs.
