Through the single INI CET examination score, candidates compete for approximately 800+ postgraduate seats spread across these autonomous Institutes of National Importance (INIs) governed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and respective state mandates:

INI CET 2027 Admit Card Release Date

INI CET 2027 Question Pattern & Scheme of Assessment

Preparing for the test requires familiarity with the computer-based format:

• Number of Questions: 200 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• Total Time Duration: 3 Hours (180 minutes) without subject-wise sectional timers.

• Question Formats: Single-correct choice, multiple-correct choices, match the following, and image-based clinical scenarios.

• Marking Scheme:

  • +1 Mark for every correct choice.

  • -1/3 Mark penalty for incorrect choices (negative marking).

  • 0 Marks for unattempted questions.

• Qualifying Percentile: Minimum 50th percentile for General/EWS/OBC candidates and 45th percentile for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
