Candidate Identification Data: Full name, roll number, application number, category (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS), and disability status.
Overall Rank: The specific All India Rank (AIR) secured by the student among all participants.
Percentile Score: The subject-wise and overall percentile marks are calculated based on the performance of all candidates.
Qualifying Status: A clear mention stating whether the candidate has cleared the minimum required cutoff percentile to participate in counselling.
After the score announcement, the admission sequence shifts to the allocation of seats in top medical centres like AIIMS branches, JIPMER, PGIMER, and NIMHANS. The process includes the following steps:
Release of Cutoffs: AIIMS will publish category-wise qualifying percentile bars. The minimum qualifying mark is usually the 50th percentile for General/EWS candidates and the 45th percentile for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Online Counselling Registration: Eligible candidates must register on the portal for the seat allocation process.
Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates will select their preferred medical institutions and specialisations in order of preference.
Seat Allotment Rounds: The automated system will assign seats based on the candidate's rank, selected choices, and available vacancies across different rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and an Open Round).
Document Verification: Selected doctors must visit the allotted medical colleges with original certificates, identity proofs, and MBBS degrees to secure their admission.
