NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 Choice Filling Begins: Schedule and Registration

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has started NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 of All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Registration, payment of fees and filling of choice started on December 5, 2025. This round accepts the candidates who were not given seats in Round 1 or those who wish to upgrade. It will include fresh registration, choice filing, and locking and process the seat allotment on December 10-11. The publication of the results will be on December 12, 2025.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 Eligibility 

Specific eligibility criteria apply for participation in NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2. Candidates must review these conditions carefully before proceeding with registration and choice filling.

• Candidates not allotted seats in Round 1 may register and submit fresh choices.

• Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 but seeking an upgrade must participate again while retaining eligibility for Round 1 seat retention rules.

• Candidates who did not report after Round 1 allotment are also allowed to register, as long as they comply with seat forfeiture norms.

• Only NEET PG 2025 qualified candidates are eligible for AIQ Round 2.

• MCC has specified that candidates allotted seats in Round 2 will not be allowed to resign after the round concludes.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 Choice Filling Steps and Registration 

Registration and filling of choice of NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 should be done using the following steps:

• Go to the page of NEET PG counselling on mcc.nic.in.

• Full new registration by using your NEET PG roll number, date of birth and security credentials.

• Make the registration fee and security deposit.

• Get to the choice filling module and input course-college preferences of your choice, starting with the date of December 6.

• Decision on lock prior to 11:55 PM, December 9, 2025.

• Wait until December 10 and 11, when the processing of the allotment of seats will be done.

NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2: Reporting to Allotted Colleges 

The NEET PG 2025 Counselling Round 2 result will be announced on December 12, 2025. Candidates allotted seats must complete the reporting process within the stipulated timeline.

All allotted candidates must report to their respective colleges between December 13 and December 21, 2025. Reporting requires submission of original documents, the allotment letter, identity proof, fee receipt, and category certificates, where applicable. Institutions will verify documents and confirm admission within the given period. No extension of the reporting timeline has been announced in the official schedule.
