NEET-PG 2025 Cut-Off Reduced: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially revised the qualifying cut-off for NEET-PG 2025, bringing relief to thousands of postgraduate medical aspirants. Acting on directions from the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), the revised cut-off applies to Round 3 counselling for the 2025–26 academic session. The move aims to maximise seat utilisation without disturbing the existing merit order. Importantly, the NEET-PG 2025 ranks declared earlier remain unchanged. Candidates who narrowly missed eligibility earlier may now qualify for counselling under the revised criteria.
NEET-PG 2025 results were declared on August 19, 2025. To ensure better utilisation of available postgraduate medical seats during the third round of counselling, the government approved a reduction in the minimum qualifying percentile across categories. This allows more candidates to become eligible for counselling without any change in ranks or merit list.
