NEET PG 2026 toppers list out official update has been released by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Medical graduates across the nation who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate can now access their merit position, raw scores, and category cutoffs via the official examination portals (natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in). The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the NEET PG 2026 Result on September 24, 2026. The result includes candidates’ raw scores and NEET PG 2026 ranks. Candidates can check their result through the official NBEMS website.

A total of 2,63,544 candidates appeared on August 30, while 2,416 candidates appeared in the September 5 re-examination conducted for the affected Jaipur candidates.

Following the nationwide examination held on 30 August 2026 and the subsequent re-examination conducted on 5 September 2026 at Jaipur due to local technical issues, NBEMS completed the raw score processing and tie-breaking calculations.

The top-performing candidate (Roll Number 26661005596) secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 with an outstanding score of 641 marks out of 720. The overall scores across the top 20 rankers ranged from 614 to 641 marks.

Score distribution among the top candidates reflects close competition across the top percentiles. Several candidates achieved identical raw scores and were ranked according to standard tie-breaking rules.

• Highest Score: AIR 1 secured 641 marks out of 720.

• Top 3 Cut-off: The second rank holder scored 633 marks, while the third rank holder achieved 626 marks.

• Tied Scores: Four candidates shared a score of 625 from ranks 4 to 7. Similarly, ranks 9 through 11 achieved 620 marks, and ranks 15 through 18 achieved 616 marks.

• Top 20 Boundary: AIR 20 concluded the top bracket with a score of 614 marks

NBEMS has published the NEET PG 2026 Result PDF, containing candidate-wise scores and ranks. The result document includes the application sequence number, roll number, total score out of 720 and NEET PG 2026 rank.

Candidates can use the result PDF to check their details using their roll number. The result document states that the published result is displayed in ascending order of NEET PG 2026 roll numbers.

NEET PG 2026 Category-Wise Qualifying Cutoff Marks

Along with the merit list, NBEMS has announced the qualifying percentile criteria and exact NEET PG 2026 cutoff scores required to participate in MD/MS/DNB seat allotment rounds:

Candidates should note that the qualifying cut-off only represents the minimum eligibility criterion. The final admission process and seat allotment will depend on the applicable counselling process, merit lists, eligibility conditions, reservation rules and other admission criteria.

NEET PG 2026 Scorecard Date

Candidates should note that the result PDF and individual scorecard are not the same document.

According to the NBEMS notice, individual NEET PG 2026 scorecards will be available for download on or after October 1, 2026. The scorecard will remain available for download for six months from the date of issuance.

NBEMS has advised candidates to preserve their scorecards for future reference because scorecards will not remain available on the website after the specified six-month period.

NEET PG 2026 Answer Key

The NEET PG 2026 answer key is scheduled to be published by NBEMS on or after October 1, 2026. Candidates will be able to access question ID numbers, correct answer key IDs, their marked response IDs and the score awarded for each question through their individual applicant login.

NBEMS also stated that all questions from both question papers were reviewed by faculty members from the concerned specialty areas after the examination, and none of the questions were found technically incorrect.

How to Check NEET PG 2026 Scorecard and Merit Rank

Candidates can view their individual scorecards and All India Ranks by following these steps:

1. Access Portal: Open natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in on your web browser.

2. Select Examination: Click on the NEET-PG tab under the entrance examinations section.

3. Open Result Link: Click on the notice titled "Declaration of Result: NEET-PG 2026".

4. View Merit PDF / Login: Search for your Roll Number in the master merit list PDF or log in to the applicant portal using your User ID and Password.

5. Download Scorecard: Download and print your individual scorecard (available on or before 01 October 2026) for verification during seat allotment.
