The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) has officially released the Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 4 counselling seat matrix. Along with this, the revised merit list for the Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 4 has been published on the official website, dmetodisha.in. Candidates included in the revised merit list, except those who have already secured seats in AIQ, Deemed, State PG, or Diploma courses, are eligible to participate in the stray vacancy round.

Recently, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) declared the NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy seat allotment results for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. According to the official allotment result PDF, a total of 2,331 candidates secured seats in round 4, including 11 under the Armed Forces quota.

The official notification states that the counselling process will be conducted as per the choices exercised by candidates in the notified in-service, direct, composite (both in-service and direct), and diploma state-specific merit lists.

Odisha NEET PG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Process

Candidates eligible for the stray vacancy round must report in person at Kalam Auditorium, VIMSAR, at 10 AM and mark their attendance. The step-by-step counselling process is as follows:

1. Attendance: Candidates must be physically present and mark their attendance at the venue.
2. Choice Form Submission: Candidates will receive a ‘choice form’ on-site, which they must fill out.
3. Counselling Desk Reporting: Candidates will be called based on their merit rank.
4. Seat Allotment and Reporting: After selection, candidates must report to their allotted colleges by February 27.
5. Admission Data Submission: The final admission data will be sent to MCC by February 28.

Odisha NEET PG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round Counselling Schedule

The official website has published the seat matrix for round 4, while the revised state-specific merit list for the stray vacancy round will be released today, including the names of qualified candidates.

Candidates whose names appear in the merit list must attend the physical counselling on February 24, 2025. Only those who complete the physical counselling and reporting process between February 25 and 27, 2025, will be considered for admission. Being on the merit list alone does not guarantee a PG medical seat in Odisha.
