Supreme Court Takes Up Plea on Vacant PG Medical Seats, Demands 5-Year Record

The Supreme Court of India will look into a plea about many PG medical seats staying empty every year. The aim is to make sure seats are used properly and not wasted. The plea also asks for data on vacant seats from the last five years. The case will be heard by the Chief Justice and two other judges.

The plea also asks the National Medical Commission (NMC) to provide detailed data for the last five years. This data should show how many PG medical seats were left vacant in different courses and colleges.
