Highest Marks in Re NEET 2026: Who Scored the Highest Marks in NEET UG 2026?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Re-NEET UG 2026 Result, and the highest score in this year's examination is 715 out of 720 marks. The top score was jointly secured by Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana, who shared All India Rank (AIR) 1.

The declaration of the results marks the beginning of the medical admission process for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Nursing and other undergraduate medical programmes across India.

While nearly 20 lakh candidates appeared for the examination, only 19 candidates scored above 700, making these scores exceptionally rare.

Top Rankers Came from Across India

The highest-performing candidates represented multiple regions of the country.

According to NTA:

• The Top 17 candidates, who scored above 705 marks, belong to Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

• The 138 candidates scoring 690 marks or above came from 66 different cities across India.

• Qualified candidates emerged from all 36 States and Union Territories.

This demonstrates the nationwide competitiveness of Re-NEET UG 2026. 

Interesting Facts About the Highest Scorers

NTA's result analysis reveals some interesting trends among the highest scorers:

• More than 93% of candidates scoring above 690 marks were first-time NEET aspirants.

• Nearly 99% of these top performers were in the 17–19-year age group.

• More than 58% of all qualified candidates in NEET UG 2026 were women, reflecting strong female participation in the examination.
