How to Correct Errors in NEET UG 2026 Application Form: Filling the NEET UG 2026 application form carefully is very important because even a small mistake can create problems later during admit card download, exam day verification, or counselling. The National Testing Agency (NTA) allows candidates to fix certain mistakes through an official correction window.
The NEET Application Form 2026 was released on 8th February 2026, and the NEET Correction Window 2026 is a crucial opportunity for candidates who submitted forms with errors. The correction window will be open from 10th March to 12th March 2026. Many students make mistakes during registration due to haste or confusion, and this window allows them to rectify such errors before the exam process proceeds.
NTA has officially announced the NEET UG 2026 application correction window, which will remain open from 10 March to 12 March 2026. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website for updates. Corrections can be made only within this fixed, notified period.

| NEET Registration Form 2026 Ends | 8th March 2026 |
| NEET 2026 Application Correction Dates | 10th to 12th March 2026 |

If you made any mistake while filling out the NEET UG 2026 application form, NTA provides a one-time correction window to edit permitted details. This is the only chance to fix errors after form submission.

NTA clearly states that once the application fee is paid, the details submitted in the NEET UG 2026 form are treated as final. Changes will be allowed only in the specific fields made available during the official correction window. No manual correction requests will be entertained after this period.
NTA allows corrections only in certain fields. Based on the Information Bulletin, the following types of details are generally editable (as notified during the window):
Candidate’s personal details (limited fields)
Category (General/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/EWS)
PwBD/PwD status
Choice of exam cities
Educational details (Class 10 / 12)
Uploaded documents (if incorrect/unclear)
Medium of question paper (if allowed in notice)
Photograph, signature, and thumb impression must be uploaded correctly while applying because correction may not be allowed for these in many cases.
As per NTA instructions, some details are final and non-editable after submission:
Registered mobile number and email ID
Candidate’s name, parents’ name (in most cases)
Aadhaar/Identity details
Multiple application forms (strictly prohibited)
If a candidate submits more than one form, it will be treated as Unfair Means (UFM) and candidature may be cancelled.
Incorrect information can cause:
Problem during admit card verification
Issues in exam centre entry (biometric/ID mismatch)
Rejection during counselling and document verification
Cancellation of candidature
Hence, candidates must match their details exactly with:
Aadhaar Card
Class 10 certificate (for DOB and name)
Category certificate (if applicable)
