
Key Instructions Released in NEET UG 2026 Information Bulletin: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has shared a detailed guide for the NEET UG 2026 exam. It contains rules that every student must follow to apply and take the test correctly. If a student does not follow these instructions, they might be disqualified. NEET 2026 registration has commenced, and candidates are advised to visit the online portal to submit their forms before March 8, 2026, along with the required fee payment.
The following schedule is critical for every student to follow carefully:
Online Application Period: 08 February 2026 to 08 March 2026 (until 09:00 PM).
Last Date for Fee Payment: 08 March 2026 (until 11:50 PM).
Correction Window: 10 March 2026 to 12 March 2026.
Exam Date: 03 May 2026 (Sunday).

Apply only online through the official NEET website (neet.nta.nic.in).
Fill the form carefully; wrong or incomplete details can reject your application.
Use your own Aadhaar card, mobile number, and email ID if possible.
The full process is online; do not send any documents by post or email.
Once submitted, the application cannot be withdrawn or edited (except for the correction window).
Pay the fee online only; a confirmation page is generated after successful payment.
Keep hard copies of the confirmation page, admit card, and scorecard safely.
Check the NTA website and your email regularly for updates.

A student must meet these basic requirements to appear for the test:
Age Limit: The student must be at least 17 years old on or before 31st December 2026.
Educational Qualifications: A student must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, along with English.
Additional Subjects: Students who studied Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject after passing Class 12 are now eligible to apply.
Several important updates have been introduced for the 2026 session.
Live Photograph: A student must now capture and upload a live photograph during the online application process.
Aadhaar Verification: Students are strongly advised to use their Aadhaar Card for identity verification to simplify the process.
DigiLocker: Official documents like the Admit Card and Score Card will be available in DigiLocker for safe custody.
Entry Deadline: No student will be allowed to enter the exam centre after 01:30 PM on the day of the test.
