Major Changes Introduced in NEET UG 2026 Compared to Last Year: NTA has released the NEET UG 2026 notification on its official website. It is to inform regarding the start of the NEET 2026 registration process through the online mode. Candidates should carefully check the officially provided details in the NEET 2026 exam-related notification.
Some changes have been introduced in NEET UG 2026. It includes Adhaar eKYC and taking a live photo to upload to the online application form. Candidates can submit their application form before the last date, which is March 8, 2026.
The biggest change is how the student gives their picture. Before, you only had to upload a saved photo. Now, the student must capture a live photograph while filling out the online form. This helps the NTA make sure the person applying is the right person.
In the past, there were strict rules about studying Biology. Now, the student can take the exam even if they studied Biology or Biotechnology as an additional subject after passing Class 12. This helps any student who decides to become a doctor later in school.
NTA wants every student to use their Aadhaar Card to sign up. The student must check that their name, birthday, and gender on the Aadhaar card match their school records exactly. This makes checking your identity much easier.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has introduced allocating the candidate’s exam city to appear for the NEET 2026 exam based on their present address. This time candidates should carefully enter the address in the NEET UG 2026 registration form.
A student must remember that the application is only online. You cannot send a paper form by mail. Everything must be done on the official website.
To help the student, the NTA is using DigiLocker. This is a safe digital place where the student can download the Confirmation Page, Admit Card, and Score Card.
