The MCC NEET Choice Filling process is one of the most important stages of counselling.
Candidates should:
Register on the MCC portal
Pay counselling fee
Fill college preferences
Arrange choices in order of priority
Save choices
Lock choices before the deadline
Once the choices are locked, they cannot be modified for that counselling round.
The MCC Seat Allotment 2026 is prepared based on:
NEET UG Rank
Reservation Category
Seat Availability
Candidate Preferences
Eligibility Criteria
After allotment, candidates can choose either:
Accept allotted seat
Report physically to the allotted college
Complete admission formalities
Accept seat provisionally
Opt for upgradation in the next round
Upload documents online for verification
Continue participating in subsequent rounds
The 2026 counselling process introduces online document verification for Float candidates, reducing the need for immediate physical reporting until the final stage.
For 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, the reservation policy is:
| Category | Reservation |
| SC | 15% |
| ST | 7.5% |
| OBC (NCL) | 27% |
| EWS | 10% |
| PwD | 5% Horizontal Reservation |
Candidates should keep the following documents ready:
NEET UG 2026 Admit Card
NEET UG Score Card
Class 10 Certificate
Class 12 Marksheet
Identity Proof
Passport-size Photographs
Category Certificate (if applicable)
EWS Certificate (if applicable)
OBC-NCL Certificate
PwD Certificate (if applicable)
Domicile Certificate (where required)
Provisional Allotment Letter
Any other documents prescribed by the allotted institute
Candidates opting for the Float option must upload clear scanned copies of the required documents on the MCC portal within the reporting period.
Registration is accepted only through the official MCC portal.
Candidates should register using the same mobile number and email ID used during NEET registration.
A candidate can register only once.
Choice locking is mandatory.
Round 3 does not permit resignation after joining.
Security deposit may be forfeited if a candidate fails to join after allotment in later rounds.
Candidates are advised to verify the eligibility criteria and fee structure of colleges before filling choices.
The MCC NEET UG Admission 2026 process will conclude after four rounds of counselling, including the Stray Vacancy Round. Candidates should carefully follow the registration schedule, complete MCC NEET Choice Filling, upload documents within the stipulated timeline, and report to the allotted institute to confirm admission.
Since seat allotment depends on merit, preference, reservation, and availability, candidates should fill as many suitable choices as possible to maximize their chances of admission.
