Documents Required for NEET 2026

Carrying the right documents on NEET exam day is just as important as preparing for the syllabus. Make sure you have a printed copy of your admit card and a valid original photo ID proof with you, as both will be checked before entry. 

You should also carry a passport-size photograph, preferably the same one uploaded during the application process. If you belong to the PwD category, keep your certificate ready for verification. Missing any of these documents can stop you from entering the exam hall, so double-check everything before leaving home.

  • One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application form.

  • Valid original photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Passport / Voter ID / Driving License)

NEET 2026 Dress Code

While marking responses, they should use only the permitted pen and darken the circles neatly and completely. Once an answer is marked, it cannot be changed, so each response should be selected with attention. Any overwriting, multiple markings, or damage to the OMR sheet may result in the answer being treated as invalid.
